Lan Samantha Chang, first Asian American and first female Director of the famed Iowa Writers’ Workshop, sat down with me to discuss her new book, All is Forgotten, Nothing is Lost (W.W. Norton 2010). The novel charts the lives of three poet-classmates and their professor from an MFA program.
