I've had the box and pole for a couple weeks now, and love love love how many more exercises I'm able to do on the reformer with the addition of the box. For me, the pole and strap were more of "extras" than what motivated me to buy the set, and I truthfully have barely used either. Box is sturdy, well-padded. Handles are comfortable and secure- glad i went for it.
