ca. 1905 ORIGINAL COLLECTION A perennial favorite, the Pond Lily Library Lamp is celebrated for its graceful lines and dramatic color. Like the Peacock lamp, the shade motif extends to the bronze base: water lily blossoms and stems descend into a jumble of floating lily pads. It is one of six known examples. The others are in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, the Chrysler Museum of Art, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and one private collection.
