There's overall health, of course, and getting fit. But the survey also found some really kind of unexpected answers, too—like the fact 53 percent of the men who answered think that women runners have better genes and better healthso they're likely to be good candidates to bear healthy children later on. And the survey uncovered some more running-slash-relationship stats, too: * 55 percent of men and 42 percent of women reported an improvement in their sex life after they started running (P.S. An earlier survey showed that couples who run together also have more sex). * 68 percent of women started running in order to feel sexier and more confident with the opposite sex. * A woman who stays fit by running is considered attractive by 35 percent of men—coming in second only to a woman who makes them laugh.
