The Hybrid Knee Brace (K67-MP) is a versatile and effective solution for individuals with cone shaped legs (extra wide thighs). It is indicated for those suffering from mild to moderate ACL/PCL instabilities, medial/lateral collateral ligament instability, or arthritis. It is also indicated in the postoperative management following knee surgery.
Hinge Type: MP
Our multi-positional hinge features a sophisticated design with rotating arms connected to inner and outer guide plates for pivotal movement. These plates contain specially curved slots that allow controlled sliding of pins located at the ends of the arms. Adjustments can be made by loosening set screws, enabling the arms to move and alter the joint angle. This system allows for precise angulation settings, which are securely locked in place using a combination of flat-screws and set screws.

The Hybrid Knee Brace is designed to accommodate individuals with cone-shaped legs, large quadriceps, or extra wide thighs. It is easy to put on and take off with its unique slip-on design. It features finger loops and pull tabs that help you slip it on over the foot and calf. It has an opening on top which serves as a wrap-around for the thigh. The upper and lower circumferential straps, along with a posterior adjustable elastic segment, ensure a secure and comfortable fit.
The brace is equipped with adjustable and covered stainless steel hinges with hyperextension range of motion stops, which allows for optimal support and stability, particularly following knee surgery. The large, comfortable openings in the front and back of the knee ensures proper positioning and comfort. The elastic segment on Velcro straps in the back of the knee helps prevent a tourniquet effect.
Made from latex-free 3/16” nylon, 2-sided Neoprene material (K67 version) with boot pulls, this brace is lightweight and durable. (The KC67 Koolflex version is also available.)
Fits universal right or left knee.

The Hybrid Knee Brace is PDAC-approved under recommended HCPCS codes L1832 and L1833, which describe prefabricated braces with double uprights and adjustable flexion and extension joints.
This brace is most ideal for your patients with large quadriceps or extra wide thighs who may not be able to use the pull-up brace design. The cone-shaped design on The Hybrid Knee Brace provides a better fit and prevents migration of the brace in individuals with cone-shaped legs. Otherwise, this brace has many similar features (hinges with range of motion stops and patella opening) to other braces designed to provide knee joint support and stability.
