An Ashanti Silvered Metal, (Nickel free), patterned crown. Ghana, West Africa. The circular band of the crown is decorated with patterns of small curved bands and domed circular knobs. At the front of the crown is a large panel of an eagle decorated with small curved bands. The circular band of the crown is lined with black cloth. The inner diameter of the band is 7 inches, and is adjustable in size. The eagle is 7 inches in width and 4.7 inches in height.
