Historically accurate women's linen close-fitting shift or chemise for reenactors in the medieval style. Made to order. Please note, the item include chemise only. Shift or chemise is the most basic historical element of women's medieval underwear. This tight linen sleeveless chemise features a corsage tightly fitting to body, wide shoulder straps and with nestel cord on the side. The length of this shift ends slightly above the ankle. The item is avaliable in two colors: - white linen - unbleached natural linen We offer two types of sewing the shift: 1. 50/50 (industrial / manual) i.e. invisible stitches are machine sewn and all visible stitches are hand-sewn. 2. Completely manual i.e. both invisible and visible stiches are hand-sewn. Materials used: - fabric top - 100% linen - threads - 100% linen - nestel cord - wool, woven handmade Item care: 1. Washing - in the washing machine up to 100ยฐF/40ยฐC. 2. Drying - in the tumble dryer or hang out spreding the creases. 3. Ironing - slightly wet the item and iron it.
