Market Basket will open a new store in Johnston on Friday. It is the supermarket chain's 86th store and it's second in Rhode Island. Market Basket opened a grocery store in Warwickin May. In addition to 50,000 grocery items, Market Basket said the 80,000-square-foot Johnston store will feature a Kitchen and Café with dine-in and takeout options, a sushi bar, and a Butcher Block with ready-to-cook meats. The Johnston store is located at 1300 Hartford Ave.
