This Silver Drachm is over 2,000 years old, and was the type of coin the Three Wise Men used!
Everyone knows the story of the Three Wise Men who visited Baby Jesus in the manger in Bethlehem some 2,000 years ago. This very coin was issued by Azes II, who is believed to be the King who sent Gasper, one of the Three Wise Men, to visit baby Jesus. The trip made by Casper was funded by the King, which meant Casper carried these very coins along with him on his travels! The obverse depicts Azes on horseback while the reverse depicts Zeus. To add to this piece's rarity, it is one of the first documented bilingual coins. This made it easy to use in trade between Greece and Middle East for trade. A coin as such is priceless, but we have a small quantity at a price you will likely be purchasing 10 or more! Each coin is certified to be authentic by NGC. You will receive a certificate of authenticity with the coin's history along with each coin! This is an amazingly meaninful Christmas gift, as it celebrates the true Christmas, Christ's birth! P.S. - This may just be the nicest batch of these we have ever gotten in! Highlights: 2,000 year old silver Authenticated by NGC Early bilingual coin
