Hand built model of a U.S. Navy F9F-2 Panther, sponsored by Neil Armstrong. It is a replica of the aircraft he flew for VF-51 in 1951. The model was constructed by Michael McLeod for the Cold War Gallery at Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC.
