Alesha Dixon (born 7 October 1978) is a singer, dancer, televison pressenter and TV judge. She began her career in in 1999 as part of UK girl group Mis-Teeq, achieving two Top 10 albums and several Top 10 singles, two of which missed out on topping the charts. After the group disbanded in 2005, Dixon turned her attention to being a solo artist, which proved less successful.
